Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MCS MAX LLP ("we", "our", or "us") handles information in relation to the Site Captain Construction App mobile application ("App"). Site Captain Construction App is designed as an offline-first construction site management tool used by supervisors to manage labour, attendance, tasks, and site progress directly on their device.
01. Data Storage
Site Captain Construction App operates primarily without internet connectivity. All data entered into the App is stored locally on the user's device and remains under the control of the user or their organisation. The App does not automatically transmit data to our servers, and we do not operate a centralized cloud database for user data in its standard usage.
The App allows users to create and manage workforce and operational data including labour details, attendance records, job assignments, task tracking, work updates, and supervisor remarks. It also allows users to capture and store photos and videos as proof of work or progress. All such information remains stored only on the device unless the user chooses to export or share it independently.
02. Device Access
To support its functionality, the App may request access to specific device features. These permissions are used strictly for the functioning of the App and not for collecting or transmitting user data to us.
03. Analytics
We do not collect personal or operational data on our servers, do not track user behaviour remotely, and do not use analytics tools or third-party tracking technologies. Any data created within the App remains fully under the control of the user or their organization and is not accessible to us.
Since the App functions offline, we do not receive, process, or share user data. If users choose to export or share data through external means such as file transfers, messaging applications, or email, such actions are entirely controlled by the user and fall outside our responsibility.
04. Security
Data security depends on the security of the user’s device. Users are encouraged to protect their devices using appropriate measures such as passwords or PINs. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device damage, theft, or unauthorized access.
All data remains on the device until it is deleted by the user. Uninstalling the App may remove stored data depending on the device settings. We do not retain any copies of user data at any point.
05. Contact
The App is intended for professional use in construction environments and is not designed for individuals under the age of 18. We may update this Privacy Policy in the future if there are changes to the App’s functionality.
